J. G. Kurus (Founder)
Brother J. G. Kurus was raised in a strict, disciplined, and godly home by his Hindu and Catholic parents. His mother became a born-again Christian believer around the time of his birth. His father, Mr. Gnanam Kurus, a highly paid technician at the time, was occasionally irresponsible with the family. This behavior stemmed from the psychological impact of losing his own father, Mr. Michael Kurus, whose passing was suspected to be an unnatural death caused by venomous individuals.
As the third of four children, he was sporty and unruly during his childhood, which often led to severe punishments from his mother.”
He ranked first in his class during the first, second, and third grades, but had to repeat the fifth grade due to being overly mischievous and playful. Later, while pursuing a course to become a master designer, he secured a well-paying job and worked there for a short period. When God began inspiring and urging him to resign to enter full-time ministry, he was initially reluctant. However, within a few months, he obeyed and surrendered himself to God’s service.
Prior to this, while employed, he planned to accumulate more wealth and attempted to take an additional course to work abroad. In the process, he drifted away from the godly life of his childhood, getting lost in sinful pleasures and the world of darkness. However, God had a different plan; He not only revealed to him the scene of Calvary’s cross but also chastised him to restore him to an even greater level of godliness.
After receiving advice and guidance from the church leaders, who brought conviction regarding his faults, he deeply repented of all the sins he had committed in ignorance and confessed them. He then obeyed God by undergoing baptism by immersion, as mentioned in Matthew 28:19. Following that, he received the anointing of the Holy Spirit, as referenced in John 3:5 and Acts 2:3, 4, and 33, empowering him to lead a holy and sacrificial life. God has since performed many miracles and wonders throughout his pilgrim journey and voyage of faith.
MY TESTIMONY My childhood days of devotion were not really from the heart but by the force of my mother. After the age of 18, when I got a bit of freedom, I slipped away to the sinful pleasures of the world. Then, I felt the consequences of losing true peace of mind; after going to bed, I could not sleep for hours.Because of this, I approached my early church leaders who had guided me to the way of truth and peace biblically. Being half Hindu by birth, no one forced me or gave me any kind of gift or privilege to accept Christ at the young age of 20. Instead, by tasting the power of Christ in my life personally, I believed and accepted Jesus Christ as my personal savior. From that day until now, whenever I go to bed, I fall asleep within seconds. So great is the peace and joy which I received through Christ.I say this because there are so many fairy tales and rumors spreading among people about those who accept Jesus Christ as their savior, which are simply not true in many instances. |
Sins committed in ignorance will be freely forgiven by Christ once. However, one cannot repeatedly and willfully sin, expecting forgiveness through confession, as the Bible does not support such behavior (Hebrews 6:4–8). The daily purging of our unsanctified nature is entirely different from committing deliberate, willful sins. |

A) God specifically called him to be a prayer warrior and to teach, admonish, and counsel through Gods spiritual gifts of grace.
B) At the time of his birth, God revealed to his mother and spoke about the founder, stating that just as God had kept Elijah in the midst of Israel, He would keep him in the midst of Christians and the world. This has proven true in many places throughout his ministry, as he has faced storms and opposition for his straightforward statements, honest answers, and transparent speeches. At the same time, he has also received a great deal of love, affection, and favor from the Creator’s true children.
C) God revealed to him glimpses of visions concerning the second, secret coming of Jesus Christ from various angles. These included the different positions in Heaven, the orders of resurrection, the beauty of Heaven, Christ’s sufferings on the cross, the spiritual bodies of the resurrected, the torments of Hell, and the post-death judgment of humans. This judgment applies only to humans and not to other living creatures—such as animals, reptiles, aquatic life, or birds—since they possess life alone and lack the souls required to discern good and bad. Because of these revelations, he teaches confidently on these topics without any compromise.
D) He is also keen on teaching the thirteen great mysteries of the Bible—such as God, godliness, the world, the will of God, and heaven. These are mysteries that cannot be taught or understood unless their true meaning is correctly exposed by those who are called and elected by God himself, as mentioned in Ephesians 3:3, 5 and Hebrews 5:4.
Until now, God has been faithful in leading and guiding him, keeping him in close intimacy. Although there have been ups and downs in his life and ministry, it has all been for his learning and the transformation of his character into the image of God’s Son, Jesus Christ, as mentioned in Romans 8:29.
